The SOILL-Startup project, represented by our partner CREA, will participate in the final event of the Horizon project FER-PLAY, titled "The Potential of Circular Fertilisers Untapped: Opportunities and Challenges Ahead". This event will take place on February 18-19, 2025, at Silversquare Bailli in Brussels. SOILL will be featured at the expo corner, contributing to discussions on the future of sustainable agriculture and circular fertilisers in Europe.
The potential of circular fertilisers untapped
Circular fertilisers play a key role in protecting our soils and ecosystems, reducing the EU's reliance on fertiliser imports, and improving resource efficiency. The FER-PLAY final event brings together producers, farmers, civil society organisations, academics, and policymakers to share project results and discuss the future of circular fertilisers in Europe. SOILL is proud to be part of this important event.
The FER-PLAY final event is crucial for promoting circular fertilisers in Europe. It aims to:
- Show the environmental and economic benefits of circular fertilisers.
- Explore innovations in nutrient recycling.
- Encourage collaboration between stakeholders.
- Provide policy recommendations to boost market adoption.
With keynotes, discussions, and interactive sessions, the event offers a platform to shape the future of circular fertilisers.
SOILL’s Role at the Event
The SOILL-Startup project, represented by project partner CREA, will be featured at the expo corner during both days of the event. We will showcase the SOILL-Startup project, a support structure for Soil Health Living Labs, highlighting our commitment to sustainable agriculture. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about our innovative approaches to soil health, and ecosystem protection.
Through our participation, SOILL aims to:
- Share project insights and achievements.
- Collaborate with other Horizon-funded projects.
- Promote Mission Soil.
- Contribute to policy discussions on circular fertilisers.
Join us in Brussels to discover how SOILL is contributing to sustainable soil health and the future of agriculture.
